1000 Peace Crane Project
The Center for Spiritual Living has committed to creating 1000 Origami Peace Cranes in 2009 with the intention for Peace. We are a PEACE CENTER for the International Centers for Spiritual Living and we practice peace each week. This year we invite you to participate in a bigger idea…

1000 Peace Cranes,
blessed with the intention of Peace,
infused with meditation and prayer,
folded with love and more intention,
and hung with peace.

Each month we will be inviting sister churches and centers to join us to participate in spiritual practices together and learn how to fold Peace Cranes. When 1000 peace cranes are completed, we will hang the Cranes in the form of a mobile as a testament to our Interfaith gatherings and our intention for Peace.

Please join us each month beginning Friday, February 6, 2009 at 6:00 PM. Additional dates are:

Everyone Eats
At the Center for Spiritual Living, we serve one of the local food banks by collecting and delivering food each and every Sunday. WHEN YOU COME TO VISIT, BRING CANNED FOODS, BOXED GOODS, DIAPERS, ANIMAL FOOD, ETC. Every bit helps. This is one way we are bing part of the change... by feeding our spiritual brothers and sisters.

Interfaith Hospitality
Last year, the Center for Spiritual Living became involved in the local community in a more obvious way by supporting the Interfaith Hospitality Network, a non-profit organization that provides shelter for homeless families. Our role with IHN is still being defined. We are open to all support for this outreach program.
